- Mixed media paper: 90 lb minimum for watercolors
- Bag or pouch, that you can carry and quickly retrieve tools out of
- A ruler
- Pencil, eraser, enclosed sharpener
- Black ink pen
- Colors
- water color pencils, refillable water color brush , small sponge or cloth for blotting

Where do I get supplies?
Michaels, Hobby Lobby, Blick Art supplies and Amazon will have everything you need.
Will we be out in the sun the whole time?
No, class will be held partially indoors and/or in the shade when possible.
How do I pay?
Payment is collected at the beginning of class in cash.

Who is this for?
This class for your younger artists aged 2-5! It is offered through the City of Santa Clarita Recreational Service Website.
What is this about?
This class is an essential, experiential, and exploratory art class where we explore painting, glue, and 3D art projects based on a weekly theme. As a child directed open ended art class, we make a mess, have a great time, make beautiful Picasso style art and get creative.
What do we do?
Each class starts with Play Doh to warm up, and then we jump into our art projects. There is no right or wrong way to do these art projects and the themes change throughout the year; if you take multiple sessions you won't see the same projects over and over. We get to wash in our own bucket of soapy water and watch the train go by daily.
