Nature Journaling

Explore the outdoors

Summer time is the perfect time to get out, explore nature, work on your hobbies, and have fun! This summer, our instructor Miss Chelsea is partnering us up with the Placerita Canyon Nature Center to lead a  series of Nature Journaling Workshops.

What these workshops offer

In this series of workshops, students will get to study nature, improve their drawing skills, and have fun. Each class will introduce  a new art technique, journaling style, a short walk for botanical and wildlife observations, and a visit to the parks long-time animal residents.

Can't Draw?

That's okay. Here at Picasso's Playmates we firmly believe that we can teach anyone to draw. Art is a tool, not a talent and we'll show you how to use what you have. Even if you're drawing with your left foot you'll still be all-right.
